RAINY DAYS INSIDE.

It literally seems like it's been raining here for 40 days and 40 nights. There are thunderstorms almost every day and it doesn't seem to rain until I step outside to take pictures. The irony. So for this outfit post, I was forced to shoot inside, which wasn't so fun, but I was able to get some great shots. Recently, I partnered up with Chellmy Jewelry in France and I love their stuff. I was sent a couple of items and my favorite thing has to be the bracelet with the diamond studded-cross. The jewelry is really unique and I recommend that you check the shop out. http://chellmy-jewellery-.moonfruit.fr/

MIDNIGHT MARAUDERS.

The youth of today is definitely taking major steps in the fashion world with modeling, designing, photography, and even running online shops. Today, I bring to you a fashion feature of a incredibly fashion forward second hand shop called 'Midnight Marauders'. Peeping the name and the background information, I see that they are fans of A Tribe Called Quest (big ups to that indeed). Their merchandise comes directly from thrift stores and private sellers. The staff themselves handpick the items from their buyers' favorite secondhand stores, giving the shopping experience a more personal feel. The different styles of clothing can fit into anyone's wardrobe whether your style is urban, preppy, boho, or eccentric. Midnight Marauders was created by owner Amira Rassol and I'd have to say that she's done an amazing job making secondhand clothing accessible to fashionista's and fashionisto's everywhere. Check out their July Lookbook below:

Also, some of my favorite items:

('Farm Boy Shorts', $48)

('Underwater Animal Dress', $27)

('Sleeveless Ganesha Graphic', $22)

They have some pretty rad things in their shop. Don't hesitate to give them a look here: http://shopmidnightmarauders.com/

TIME FLASHES.

I'm almost always finding vintage, quirky things at the thrift store and when I found this sweater piece about two years ago, it instantly became my favorite piece from the thrift store. I could tell that it was definitely something of someone's past, possibly circa mid 1980's. The watches can really bring any outfit to life.

RANDOM.

I've noticed that I don't speak to much on my personal life on here and I just tend to post photos and that's about it. Maybe there are times when I need to go more in depth about who I am and what's going in my life, with fashion related endeavors and with just life in general. I guess I can start that off now, eh?

Well, life right now is pretty stable and just laid back. I'm out of uni for the summer and I'll return back in August, hopefully with a fresh mindset and new adventures to embark on. I've pretty much made myself occupied with fashion work, whether with blogging, doing outfit of the day posts, or with working with different brands for collaborations. Speaking of collaborations, they're really fun to do and I recommend anyone who loves blogging to try to find some to be apart of. You get free clothes and in return you're also helping the brand out with promotion, so it's really a win-win. This year, I'm trying to get as much exposure as I can, but still stick to the original layout of who I am as a human being. I'm not going to change for anyone to fit someone's standards.

I'm also really looking forward to the August/September issue of Black Beauty and Hair Magazine in the United Kingdom. I'm going to be featured in it as a style influencer and although the magazine isn't sold here in the US, I'll be getting a copy sent to me. It'll be great to see myself published because I really think I deserve it.

But I guess that's enough blabbing on for now. I don't know what course my life is trying to take, but I'm content with it at the moment. I just have to sort out all negative things and live more positively. I have to smile more.

Here are some random photographs for your enjoyment.

Exist beautifully.
