FIRST DAY OF COLLEGE. | 8-13-12

Transitioning from high school to university life was such a big challenge for me. I remember crying as soon as my parents left on move in night and the fact that I didn't have a roommate to vent to or talk to about my feelings just tore me all up. I laid in my twin size bed and stared up at the ceiling, having the urge to call my parents to come pick me back up. The first couple of days were hard, but luckily I had some high school mates with me that I could hang with and eventually, the campus felt like home. I still reminded myself that I needed to stay faithful to taking outfit of the day photos.

I really liked this outfit because of the shirt that I did on my own using a 'Dip Dye Do It Yourself' tutorial. I just took an old uniform shirt, cut off the sleeves, and dipped it in a bucket of green dye, creating this effect:

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?

Gosh, it's been almost three months since I last updated this blog...three months?! That's crazy. The college life has really been taking over me -- I barely have time for anything. But I have been faithfully taking pictures of my outfits and I'm here now to update (seeing that I'm on a well needed Fall Break). I apologize to you guys for not updating like I should. That stops now.

LITTLE MONSTER. | 7-24-12

When I put together this outfit, I was trying to channel my inner Lady Gaga. Though it is a milder version of her, I think the shoes always add a little spunk -- though they are terrible to walk in.

I have reached 400 + fans on Lookbook! Not too major compared to the other front pagers on there, but it is an accomplishment for me. I remember when I used to get no hype at all, now I average about 90+ hype on every outfit. Thanks to everyone that supports me and my art!

I'm always trying to get my hands on any type of tribal print that I can and I was thrilled when I got this top. It came to me when I was having my usual yard sale at my grandfather's house and my grandmother brought this top to be sold. Of course, when she wasn't looking, I checked it out and slipped it away for myself. Clever?
