RAD IN PLAID

Everyone has gone mad with plaid it seems like (great use of rhymage, huh?) and it has even trickled on down to me. For some reason when I woke up today, I was thinking deeply about the film 'Clueless' and how the style in that movie was ridiculous, on a good level of course. I decided to take on my own version of clueless, with this amazing plaid skirt from Nasty Gal. And by the way if you haven't noticed, my blog has gotten a small makeover! COUNTRY GIRL LIFE.

Sometimes you have to take time out of your day to put on your shortest shorts, reddest lipstick, grab a towel, and lay out in the....grass? Well, that's as good as it's going to get out here in country ol' North Carolina. I absolutely despise living out here sometimes, but more recently I've gotten used to living the country, outdoors life. It's not that bad once you look past all the bugs and the smothering hot sun.

SUMMER READY.

Summer is coming because I can literally feel it in the heat waves and although it is not a pleasant feeling, it's great to be moving into another season! With a new season coming, I decided to try out a new hairstyle for the summer months. Don't get me wrong, my fro is my everything, but sometimes you have to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new. I've decided to go a bit longer and wavier.

CINCO DE MAYO.

Guess what, guys?! I'm FINALLY home for summer break meaning I can update this dear blog of mine more frequently, and man am I excited. Can you sense my excitement? (If you haven't by now, boo you.)
